Homefront Hero Hugs began right after 9/11, almost 23 years ago to unite our country and support troops deploying overseas and their brave families on the homefront. We left the politics at the door and remembered we are all Americans first.

How kids and teens can volunteer in thanks for their freedoms including coming up with their own creative ideas to give back. Volunteer credit hours and references are offered for students as they develop qualities of leadership, teamwork, empathy, reasoning, integrity and build their confidence.
