Deployed service members and their families are provided unconditional support when needed through our mission
Homefront Hero Hugs.
Through adopting you can be the difference in someone’s life for a short or longer while in thanks for their sacrifices which include protecting our freedoms, our safety and health during world pandemics, natural disasters and times of conflict. Although there can never be enough thanks, we try our best in small but critical ways at Homefront Hugs.
When you sign up to adopt a service member, you are sent personal confidential details about your hero and what kind of support they need. You then send them what you wish and choose remembering you are there to remind them they are never forgotten. Volunteers send 1-2 care packages each month to their adopted service member or family. Here at Homefront Hugs Foundation, we follow strict OPSEC guidelines as dictated by the Department of Defense (confidentiality) so that we never endanger the safety of the service member. We hope you will join our amazing team of dedicated volunteers in making a real difference with our award winning adoption program Homefront Hero Hugs.
Care packages consist of the specific needs of the service member or family. This can range from their favorite magazines and snacks to letters written by you. Filling and sending your care package(s) every month is a rewarding way to support those who may not have the support they should for numerous reasons. We don’t ask why unless they wish to share. Our support is unconditional in thanks for their sacrifices.
Make a difference today! Right now, we have too many troops waiting to be adopted. Students who choose to volunteer can receive volunteer credit as and adopt with a parent or teacher if under age 18. Your safety and security matters to us as a military family ourselves helping run Homefront Hugs Foundation. You can even sign up your fellow warriors and send us a list of names. Volunteers ! You can apply right now, right here if you are ready to make a real difference for 4-9 months in the life of a deployed service member who needs support. If you would prefer to adopt a military family stateside dealing with a deployment, the application is the same but let us know in your comments. Your information is always kept confidential as well and never shared, not even with your adopted service member or family.
